About Brony Garth Hospital

Bron Y Garth Hospital is located in Penryhndeudraeth, North Wales. In 1838, it became the Ffestiniog Union Workhouse. It housed the poor and homeless in the area. The hospital has a 28,000-square-foot building, including an on-site prison and mortuary. The most unruly inmates would have been sent to the prison cells, which were designed for hard labour.

In 1954, the workhouse became a care home for the elderly. After a period of modernisation, it became Bron Y Garth community hospital until its closure in 2009. For many years, the buildings have been left empty and decaying.

Although the building has been left to decay, it still contains many of its fixtures and fittings from its time as a hospital.

On your ghost hunt at Bron Y Garth Hospital, you will investigate many areas of this abandoned hospital, where paranormal activity is often reported. This includes full-body apparitions, dark shadows moving around the building’s many rooms, and disembodied voices.

Join us at this huge building and participate in our paranormal investigation, where you become the paranormal investigator for the night. Are you brave enough?
