About the Commandery

One of the oldest buildings in Worcester and is built on the site of a medieval chapel and  has seen some of the bloodiest moments in history. This location started as a monastic hospital in the middle ages and then later the Royalist head quarters during the final battle of the English Civil War. There have been many unexplained happenings and chilling experiences reported in the building and the grounds.
