Llancaiach Fawr Manor was built in the 16th century; the manor stands on land that has been occupied for nearly 4000 years. The building is steeped in a rich history. All around the house, there are witch marks used for protection against evil and dark magic. In fact, the manor claims to have the most of these marks in all of the UK. Used as a busy family home with servants, there are staircases within the walls where the footsteps of these people are often heard.

Doors have been witnessed opening and closing of their own accord. Disembodied voices, footsteps, banging sounds, whistles, the sounds of children and voices coming from empty rooms, and shadows walking from room to room all make Llancaiach Fawr Manor a formidable location for a ghost hunt.
