Spooky Encounters started out life as Haunted Adventures which was founded over 10 years ago years ago by two friends who shared a love for paranormal investigations and wanted to give the opportunity for others to experience what they had over the years of ghost hunting. Haunted Adventures started it’s journey as a team of two and very quickly the events events became very popular and demand increased. We are now one of the Uk’s leading organisers of public and private ghost hunting events across the UK, Haunted Adventures quickly become are a team of 14 event hosts and paranormal investigators, who all investigated some of the most haunted locations in the UK. With many more locations still to be investigated.
Over the years we have had the privilege of working with some of the most influential people in the paranormal field, we have worked worked with some of the media on their projects and we feel that we are very lucky to have had this opportunity. We pride our selves on running our events with approachable, friendly team members, who are all experienced paranormal investigators and mediums and we all share the same belief that our guests experience on our events is extremely important. In 2025 Spooky Encounters acquired Haunted Adventures due to Haunted Adventures founders personal circumstances which had an impact on how much time they had to run the business effectively and changes within the team structure presented difficulties in the running of the events. Spooky Encounters has always been away from the public eye and was previously called Ghost Nights UK. We decided to take the opportunity to take on Haunted Adventures as Spooky Encounters to continue offering the same great events that haunted adventures did, although the management and name has changed we still hold the same ethos running events as haunted adventures.
We have a range of ghost hunting events all over the UK offering you the chance to become a real life paranormal investigator on one of our overnight ghost hunts. We investigate many haunted locations including, abandoned buildings, hospitals, museums, halls, mansions and ancient pubs and Inns and many, many more as well as ghost walks at some of the most haunted hot spots across the UK. Whether your looking to join one of our public events or you would like us to organise and host a private ghost hunt, we welcome you to join us.
